Bundles from £10 per month provide customers with 1,000 minutes to mobile and landlines from the UK to up to five numbers in 50 countries
EE has launched new international calling packs and add-ons that it claims represent market-leading value for customers.
‘International’ provides them with 1,000 minutes to up to five number in 50 countries for £10 per month. ‘International Extra’ is double the price at £20 per month but offers 500 minutes to up to five numbers in 100 countries.
Both packs enable them to make calls to both international mobiles and landlines from the UK to countries including Australia, India, Ireland, France, China and the USA, Calling charges equate to 1p per minute.
They can also make the calls direct from their handset, without the need for additional apps, calling cards or other SIM cards.
Both packs are available to new and upgrading customers in the first three months of their plan and customers will need to keep the packs for a minimum term, the length of which will depend on whether they are on a handset or SIM only plan.
Add-ons are also available for the two bundles, which can be added or removed at any time. for ‘International’ customers can add 500 minutes to up to five numbers in 50 countries for £10 per month while for ‘International Extra’, they can add 250 minutes to up to five number in 100 countries for £20 per month.
To celebrate the launch, any customer who takes out one of the international packs before December 9 will receive an additional 50 per cent allowance per month. ‘International’ customers will get 1,500 minutes per month and ‘International Extra’ customers will receive 750 minutes per month.
