The offer runs from April 9 up until October 9

EE has today (April 9) confirmed that all NHS workers on its network will receive six months unlimited data.

The operator has made the move as way of saying thank you to the NHS, who have been battling over the last few weeks to fight the coronavirus outbreak.

To receive the unlimited data, NHS workers will be required to register online with a valid NHS email address to access the offer.

Once set up, these workers will receive a text message confirming their discount, until October 9 2020.

BT consumer division CEO Marc Allera said: “We hope this gives NHS staff one less thing to worry about. They can keep in touch with friends and family and use the internet without worrying about using up their data. Along with the discount we already provide, this is a thank you from all of us at EE to those in the NHS that are working so hard for us all.”

Kevin Bacon will be supporting this offer through a TV campaign, detailing the offer for the NHS workers.

EE has also helped to connect the temporary NHS Nightingale Hospital with its network during the coronavirus outbreak.

While BT has received £280,000 in donations from customers opting to give their monthly subscription credit to the NHS Charities Together for Covid-19 Urgent Appeal.
