Rugged manufacturer DOOGEE has made its latest smartphone, the S58 Pro, available in the UK.

It runs Android 10 on the Mediatek Helio P22 chipset, with 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage, expandable to 256GB.

With an IP68 rating for water and dust protection, the S58 Pro can be submerged in 1m of water for 24 hours, or 1.5m for two hours. Its housing is a four-corner rubber design with a silicon lining to enhance shock absorption and withstand drops of 1.5m, and its 5.71-inch screen is Corning Gorilla Glass HD+.

It can also survive a temperature range from -55°C to 70°C. Although it does not have a 10,000mAh battery like two recent DOOGEE releases, its 5,180mAh battery allows for a standby time of 5050 hours and 24 hours call time.

According to the manufacturer, it has “no bloatware” and also has NFC capability.

One side of the phone has dedicated one-press function buttons that can gives shortcuts to seven user-chosen apps.

It features a triple-camera setup, with a 16MP Sony main sensor, 2MP portrait camera, and 2MP macro lens, as well as a 16MP front camera.

The S58 Pro is available from Amazon UK in Army Green, Fire Orange and Mineral Black colours for £189.99, as well as Gearbest and AliExpress for $199.99.
