Airtime distributor claims “all-in-one” partner platform will boost reseller productivity by at least 20pc
Chess Partner Services (CPS) is confident its forthcoming revamped portal service can increase the productivity of all its resellers by at least 20 per cent and boost overall sales performance.
The new service is due to go live at the end of this year and will enable the O2, Vodafone and EE partner’s resellers to access mobile, IoT, broadband, cloud and billing products from a single platform.
Features of the currently unnamed portal include connecting customers to tariffs, information updates on the business, billing and commission reports.
Chess MD John Pett said the portal took nine months to build, and was shaped from direct feedback from its 600-plus channel partners.
“The system will really reduce the time it takes for them communicate with their customers and ourselves,” he said. “It’s a consequence of what they have been asking for throughout the year and I’m sure it can increase productivity by 20 per cent.
“Whether it’s mobile or hosted voice, our resellers will be able to view and connect to all our services under one roof. They can have a total view of the products their customers are using.
Pett said the launch will help facilitate Chess’ ambitions to become the UK’s biggest B2B airtime distributor, having reacquainted with Vodafone at the start of this month. It’s understood Chess has a base of around 120,000 connections across O2 and EE.
He added its focus is on making things as simple as possible for its partners to do business.
