Rugged phone-maker will work with former Data Select pair Kemp and Taylor’s new branding firm to drive sales of CAT and JCB phones in UK
Bullitt Group has appointed Our Perspective to drive sales of its CAT Phones in the UK and Ireland.
Our Perspective was established in February, charged with helping international mobile brands to enter the UK. It is headed up by former Data Select MD Roy Taylor and marketing director Jason Kemp, who were at the distributor when it began exclusively supplying resellers with the JCB Toughphone that was launched in 2008.
Both subsequently worked closely with Bullitt Group to launch further JCB and CAT Phones into the UK and other territories.
Experienced team
Industry veteran Martin Carter, formerly of Motorola and Data Select, has also joined Bullitt Group as country manager for CAT Phones to provide further support for their distribution in the UK and Ireland.
Bullitt Group CEO Peter Stephens said: “Ahead of the launch of the new CAT S60 smartphone, we have high expectations for sales in the UK and Ireland.”

The new CAT C60 smartphone, launching late June, is the first to feature an integrated thermal imaging camera as well as being waterproof to five metres.
Bullitt claims interest has been on a global scale and exceeded expectations. Interested parties have included the emergency services, refrigeration transport companies, the construction industry and medical services.
