Brightstar strengthens team with two senior appointments

David Brassington and Jon Charters have joined the distributor 

Brightstar has announced two senior appointments to its UK sales team.

The distributor has taken on David Brassington as head of network operators and Jon Charters as head of retail.

Brassington joins from Tech Data, where he spent more than eight years and was most recently business unit director.

His new role at Brightstar will see him tasked with growing operator sales channels, and taking responsibility for product and service sales among new and existing clients.

Brassington has also previously worked at LG, where he spent three-and-a-half years as an account manager.

Meanwhile, Charters joins from Sony Mobile, where he spent three years and was most recently head of enterprise.

Charters has also previously held positions at Virgin Media, where he was mobile commercial manager, and Vodafone, where he worked across a number of different roles during his tenure.

Strengthening
