The car manufacturer will deploy the devices across its offices in France and Spain
BlackBerry has signed a deal with Peugeot Citroën which will see them supply the car manufacturer with 10,000 smartphones.
Under the contract Peugeot Citroën will deploy the BlackBerry Z10 devices across its offices in France and Spain.
It will also be using BlackBerry’s enterprise mobility management software BES 10 to monitor employee usage and to secure data.
Peugeot Citroën head of telecom Eric Marchand said it chose BlackBerry as BES 10 ensures the “confidentiality of our information is maintained”.
