Barclay Communications has struck a new mobile partnership with healthcare provider Connected Health.

The two-year deal will see the Belfast-based dealer supply the company with new handsets, tariffs and tech support.

Barclay Comms will also help Connected Health’s 1,200 strong workforce that work remotely and enable staff to manage their team of carers from any location.

The Android handsets provided by Barclay Comms as part of the deal will be integrated with the required mobile device management software needed for Connected Health employees.

Barclay Comms currently serves more than 11,000 customers with 100,000 connections.

Barclay Comms managing director Britt Megahey said: “Our team worked very closely with Connected Health to create a package that added real benefit to end users and had a positive impact on their clients going forward.

Info at fingertips

Connected Health TEC manager Rebecca Vogel added: “The spec of the new handsets will enable our area managers and senior team to have important client information at their fingertips, enabling live care monitoring and integration with our healthcare technology devices in the home and virtual interaction – as well as enhanced communication with their team of care assistants.”
