Archos releases touchscreen Android netbook

ArcBook first to market with Android touchscreen netbook which comes pre-installed with Office suite Pro 6

Android device manufacturer Archos has launched the first touchscreen Android netbook which will retail at under £140.

The firm says that the 10.1 inch devices will be targeted at the student market and comes with Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint pre-installed as part of Office suite Pro 6.

All Google services are offered as part of the device including access to the Google Play app store and 15GB of Drive cloud storage.

The tablet runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean software and the manufacturer also claims that its battery will allow for 10 hours of continuous usage.
