Around Virgin Media O2 350 employees from the current Bellshill office will relocate three miles away to new luxury offices at Maxim Park, in Lanarkshire, 20 minutes from Glasgow.
Maxim Park was selected for its amenities, transport links, and community environment. The new office will serve employees across departments including network expansion, technology, and operations.
Facilities include a wellness centre gym, outdoor putting green, private nursery, and a variety of restaurants. The building has also been awarded an Excellent BREEAM Sustainable Building Certification and has cycling facilities and electric car charging points.
Patricia Cobian, Chief Financial Officer at Virgin Media O2 said “Its proximity to our current site, combined with top-tier amenities and flexibility, will make it an ideal workspace for our hybrid working model.”
This move to Maxim Park is the second major office expansion for Virgin Media O2 since the company’s merger in 2021. A new headquarters in Paddington is due to be opened this year.
