Verve Connect’s challenger smartphone brand IMO has announced a partnership with Sure Telecom, a Channel Islands-based operator that serves both business and public sector customers.
The tie-up, set to begin in the fourth quarter, will see IMO gain exposure across the islands.
Sure Telecom currently has more than 100,000 customers across that region and the Isle of Man.
As part of the deal, it will range IMO’s Q2 Plus and Q3 Plus smartphones, with further devices planned for next year.
IMO chief marketing officer Chris Edwards has called the partnership a “great fit” for the manufacturer.
“IMO is continuously growing our portfolio and market share. The partnership with Sure Telecom is a great fit to help us expand our reach, ensure our partners can stand out from the crowd and deliver a great customer experience.”
The vendor will be supported by Eurostar Global in its distribution of devices to Sure Telecom.
Eurostar business development director Ewan Davies added: “IMO’s product offering gives us greater reach into more diverse partners to create incremental opportunities.”
