The Theale-based distributor will be offering partners the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 and more high-end Surface Book laptops
Westcoast has joined the likes of Ingram Micro and Tech Data as one of Microsoft’s authorised Surface distribution partners in the UK.
The new relationship was announced today (September 13), making Westcoast Microsoft’s third UK Surface distribution reseller. It will be stocking the Surface Pro 4 and more high-end Surface Book, along with a range of accessories for both laptops.
Both products were launched by Microsoft in October last year, priced respectively from £749 and £1,299. The Surface Pro 4 (pictured) is a tablet device, but can be transformed into a more conventional laptop with an optional keyboard. The Surface Book has been designed as a standalone laptop. Westcoast already offers various other Microsoft products to its partners, including Office 365 and IT equipment, including keyboards.
Microsoft UK commercial Surface lead Pauline Yau said: “Westcoast has joined Ingram Micro and Tech Data to become our third authorised Surface distribution partner.
“We already work closely with Westcoast in other Microsoft product categories and this addition will provide the expanded reseller community with the additional scale and choice needed given the high demand we are currently experiencing for Surface devices.”
