Shane Kelly previously spent six years at Dixons Carphone
A1 Comms has confirmed the appointment of former Dixons Carphone man Shane Kelly as its new telesales manager.
He joins the company from Dixons Carphone where he spent six years, most recently at Curry’s, where he was a sales team manager.
During his stint at Dixons Carphone he was also a sales advisor and sales coach.
His role at Derbyshire-based A1 Comms will see him ‘running the day-to-day aspects of telesales, including inbound and outbound activities and dealing with new contracts, upgrades and Sky products’.
His arrival at comes as A1 Comms grows its sales teams to 43 people by the end of the month, with talk of up to 200 agents in the future.
“Coming from an outside perspective and coming from a call centre that was similar to here, there are things that can be implemented in the company with a plan for progression and expansion in mind,” said Kelly.
“We’re at a point now, as a business, where there’s a lot going on – especially in telesales – and there’s so much opportunity for growth. We’re continually recruiting and expanding, and it’s a great time for people to join the business.”
