Powell returns to mobile with Yes

Powell spent six years at Virgin as product marketing controller before taking time away from the industry to study an MBA at Imperial College, London.

Powell said: “Yes Telecom has never had a head of product management in place so this is unknown territory.

“There are new opportunities continuously arising in the business and consumer markets and with around 4.5million small businesses in the UK, there’s plenty of room for development.”

Yes head of marketing Nigel Kaye said: “James fills an important new role within the company as we want to get as many products into the market, especially those exclusive to us.”
