EE cuts upfront cost of iPhone 5 on contract

The iPhone 5 16GB is on special offer with all three EE brands until the end of April

EE has reduced the upfront price of the iPhone 5 on its 4G, Orange and T-Mobile networks.

The iPhone 5 16GB now costs £49.99 upfront on a £36 contract, down from £99.99, on EE’s 4G network.

The tariff comes with unlimited calls and texts and 500MB of data.

Orange has reduced the price of an iPhone 5 16GB on the same tariff from £69.99 to £49.99.

T-Mobile is soon to reduce its upfront price of the same iPhone model from £99.99 to £69.99, when bought on its £36 ‘Full Monty’ package – which comes with unlimited calls, texts and data.

The offer expires on April 30.
