Organisation will train one 16-25 year old with digital training skills for every paying customer taking the course
A digital skills training group believes that people can be equipped with digital skills for the business world in just one day.
Free:Formers teaches business owners how to write basic website code, launch a Facebook ad, build online communities and understand web security.
As part of its ‘ONE:FOR1’ campaign, for every business person that pays to go through the one-day training course, the organisation will train a 16-25 year old for free.
The company – which has already trained staff at Sky, Barclays and Unilever – believes that young people are digital natives and should be a central part of a company’s digital strategy.
“We do believe that young people tend to live, breathe and understand up and coming trends, which is critical but often undervalued,” Gi Fernando founder Free:Formers told Mobile News. “That’s why all of our trainers are digital natives as they are the ones helping to shape what consumers want next.”
