Vodafone announces new M2M energy metering platform

Remote monitoring system for solar panels unveiled by operator at metering event 

Vodafone has demonstrated its new M2M platform for smart meters and other energy-efficiency products at metering and billing conference RAI in Amsterdam.

New products exhibited by the operator at the technology conference include solar panel remote monitoring software and its Energy Data Management tool, which allows businesses to monitor energy efficiency data for multiple office locations.

Vodafone currently employs 200 dedicated staff to its global M2M operation and is promoting its latest innovations at the conference today and tomorrow (October 9 and 10).
