Pangea makes network coverage checker available to public

Checker covers 2G, 3G, and 4G for all networks

Update: Pangea has added 5G networks and a bulk postcode checker to its UK mobile coverage map.

The IoT provider is encouraging its partners to plan their 5G solutions in advance as rollout expands across all four networks.

Original: IoT services provider Pangea has made its mobile coverage checker available for all members of the public to use on its website.

The tracker was initially only available to Pangea partners, but is now available to anyone who is curious about connection levels either in their locality, or in a place where they might look to deploy equipment.

“The mobile coverage checker is a valuable resource – one that we want to be as easy to access as possible,” said Pangea operations director Chris Romeika. “Now that we’ve opened it up to the public, anyone in the channel and beyond can use the checker as they please.”

The coverage checker accounts for 2G, 3G and 4G availability across Three, Vodafone, EE and O2. Pangea hopes to add 5G availability in the next few months.
