Data Select strikes agreement with JCB for own Defy+

Distributor has agreed deal to customise a device with exclusive JCB branding, according to dealers

Dealers claim Data Select is to launch its own version of the Defy+ handset under a JCB white label next month.

Data Select refused to discuss the story, but it is understood to have agreed a deal with the manufacturer to customise the device with its exclusive JCB branding, and to include additional protection.

The device is expected to include a three-year-guarantee and have a number of pre-installed JCB and DIY-related applications.
