Entertainment retailer to sell them in the UK and Ireland, with fashion retailer selling the product globally
Bluetooth product manufacturer Bluechipworld has signed deals with entertainment retailer HMV and fashion retailer Harvey Nichols to sell its iT7x2 £170 headphones.
The product will go on sale at HMV’s four high street and 26 concession stores in Ireland, as well as through its website in the country, from December 5. A UK rollout of the headphones through the retailer’s operations in the UK is likely to follow next year.
The Harvey Nichols agreement is a global deal, with the headphones going on sale at its eight stores across the UK and Ireland, as well as its two outlets in Turkey, two in China and those in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Dubai.
HMV and Harvey Nichols join Selfridges and Apple in selling the iT7x2. Selfridges started selling them in August on a 30-day exclusive basis.
They will also go on sale at Apple’s British, German, Spanish, French and Italian stores in the coming weeks.
The product, the follow-up to its first iT7 portfolio that went on sale last year, is available in black, white, blue, pink and orange.
