Jelfs exit comes in the wake of former chairman John Mcfarnon and sales manager Matt Bramwells departures.
The outgoing Jelfs has no concrete plans for his future and will focus his attention on consultancy work in the meantime.
Jelfs told Mobile News: I felt now was the time to move on after a long era as there are currently a lot of changes in terms of geography and in its cohesive strategy at Unique.
At the moment Im working on a couple of assignments as a consultant and both are keen to offer me full time positions. But at this point I am keeping my options open.
Flick said: We are a good business. We are on O2s Advance Partner programme and a part of both its data and M2M Centres of Excellence. We are one of just 10 tier-one Vodafone partners and our relationship with Orange is very interesting too.
The business we write is quality business delivered in quantity. In an unprecedented unjustified and unexpected move T-Mobile contacted me and our customers to tell them our trading relationship had ceased. It has been totally unprofessional. It should have given us notice to limit the impact upon our customers.
Ultimately T-Mobile is quitting the independent channel. Over the past two years it has been reactive. It has launched extremely aggressive price plans time and again only to withdraw them fairly quickly afterwards. It is very fickle.
The WiMAX Forum is a non-profit industry-led group that has more than 470 companies as members. This includes 141 operators that are committed to promoting and certifying interoperable WiMAX products.
Vodafone global chief technology officer Steve Pusey said: Our membership of the WiMAX Forum will complement our existing memberships of other key industry bodies such as the GSMA 3GPP and the Next Generation Mobile Network initiative.
Vodafone remains technology neutral as far as our future network options are concerned and joining the WiMAX Forum is a logical step as we seek to evaluate the full capabilities and potential of this technology.
The company has slashed its total number of direct business partners from around 40 to closer 15 in little over a year.
Azzurri divisional director Martin Flick said T-Mobile had sent him and Azzurris entire T-Mobile customer base a letter informing them that Azzurris contract had been terminated.
Flick said: T-Mobile has been totally unprofessional. It should have given us some notice to limit the impact upon our customers.
Sources said last week that T-Mobile had recently sacked channel support staff.
It has made people redundant and right up to middle management and senior level staff are unmotivated and fearful for their jobs said one prominent dealer.
Another B2B dealer explained: Its support for the channel is poor and its volumes are disappointing. But rather than put resources back into the channel it is sacking its dealer support staff and now it is cutting dealers.
T-Mobile also came under fire last week for poaching customers from dealers. T-Mobile informed dealers to expect more of the same.

Dealers are reporting severe delays in O2s credit checking procedure.
O2s service level agreement (SLA) states it takes seven hours to credit check business customers. Dealers claimed last week that because of the high volume of business connections going through O2 the process was taking several days.
Either staff have left in droves or else it is just really really busy at the moment said a source. For its SLA to fall down it must be swamped.
Another dealer said: There is a huge influx of customers to O2 and it hasnt got the mechanism to cope. Its a nice problem for it to have but its very frustrating. O2 has been a victim of its own success.
An O2 spokesperson said: There have been no major issues. There may have been a few isolated incidents but there have been no widespread problems.
Separately O2 launched a SME Starter Pack tariff for business customers last week.
The new tariff offers two free months subscription to any of O2s bundled business voice tariffs and to its concierge service. It also gives SME customers a UK-based customer service team available 24 hours a day on a freephone number.
O2 account managers will also call customers every three months to resolve any issues.
O2 UK business propositions manager David Baxter said: This is designed to give entrepreneurs the support they need.
It includes a great tariff guaranteed service promise and concierge services leaving Britains start-ups free to get on with getting their businesses off the ground.
O2 is already the preferred network for SMEs. We understand what they need and were committed to helping them.
