Retailer becomes the first in the UK to sell the handset, with all customers buying one having the chance to win tickets to a private gig by Professor Green
Phones 4U has become the first retailer to sell the ZTE Grand X. The smartphone is available on contract for free from £20.50 a month.
The Grand X was unveiled last Wednesday (July 18) at a launch event in London, and is also due to go on sale at Virgin Media at the beginning of next month.
It is powered by a dual core 1GHz processor and runs off Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. It has a 4.3-inch touchscreen, five megapixel autofocus camera and 4GB of internal memory, which can be expanded to 32GB with a microSD card.
In addition, customers that purchase the Grand X from Phones 4U will be given the chance to enter a competition to win one of 75 pairs of tickets to a gig by British rapper Professor Green, who is the official ambassador for ZTE
