O2 bags OnePlus3T smartphone exclusive

Operator will open pre-orders for the device tomorrow, with it going on sale from November 28

O2 will be exclusively stocking the OnePlus3T in the UK and will be available from November 28.

Customers can pre-order the smartphone from tomorrow (November 17) on tariffs starting from £31 per month, ranging from 500MB to 20GB of data allowance.

The OnePlus3T comes in ‘Gunmetal’ or ‘Soft Gold’ colours and is also available with 64GB or 128GB of storage on all O2 tariffs or SIM-free for £417.99 or £456 respectively.

High demand

O2 head of devices Magnus McDonald said: “Demand for the OnePlus3 has exceeded all our expectations and we’re excited to see how successful out partnership with OnePlus can be.

“As the only operator in the UK to sell the OnePlus3, we’re proud to be continuing our relationship with OnePlus and to bring our customers the OnePlue3T.”

The 6GB of RAM that featured in the OnePlus3 is repeated in the 3T, along with the latest SnapDragon 821 quad-core processor running the Oxygen OS based on Android Marshmallow.

High quality cameras

Both the front and rear contain 16 megapixel cameras with the rear able to record video in 4K resolution. It houses 5.5 inch 1080p full HD screen in an aluminium body powered by a 3,400 mAh battery.

There will also be a special OnePlus popup event exclusively in O2’s store at 134 Oxford Street from 3:02pm on November 24. Tariffs will start from £31 per month for 500 minutes, unlimited texts and 500MB of data for the 64GB model and £33 per month for the 128GB model.
