Smartwatch is available now for £99.99
Norwegian company Xplora has announced that its XGO2 Android children’s smartwatch is now available in the UK.
The XGO2 comes with mobile phone and GPS tracking capabilities and is GDR compliant, making it ideal for children aged 5-12.
The XGO2 runs on Android 4.4 and has a 1.4-inch LCD screen with a 240 x 240 resolution.
It has 512MB of RAM and 4GB of storage and comes with a 0.3MP camera. The smartwatch has a 700mAh battery life and works with Wi-Fi as well as 4G, 3G, and 2G connectivity.
The smartwatch also has an emergency SOS button and a School Mode feature so there are no distractions while the child is in class
Additional features on the XGO2 include a torch, schedules, alarm, and stopwatch to keep kids organised and on time. The XGO2 charges with a Pogo Pin magnetic charger allowing for contactless magnetic charging and also fits a Nano SIM card.
