Xiaomi reveals Mi 10 5G devices for European audiences

The Chinese vendor unveiled three new phones at their online launch but a UK release date was not announced

Xiaomi gave audiences a glimpse of its 5G Mi series smartphones at its online launch earlier today.

The Chinese vendor displayed the Mi 10, Mi 10 Pro and Mi 10 Lite but did not reveal when these devices would be available in the UK.

Xiaomi’s latest flagship device, the Mi 10 Pro features a 6.67” curved AMOLED screen with a 108MP wide-angle front camera and a 20MP front camera. Xiaomi intended to place a major emphasis on the camera of its latest 5G flagship with the smartphone also offering 8K video capabilities.

The device features a 4500mAh battery and comes with an in-box 65W charger. It supports 50W wired charging and 30W wireless charging, with reverse wireless charging also an option. It is powered by the Snapdragon 865 processor and features 1216 dual symmetrical speakers.

The Mi 10 also features a 108MP main camera and a 20MP front camera and clocks in with a slightly larger battery, coming in at 4780mAh but is restricted to 30W wired and wireless charging.

The Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro go on sale on April 15 in Europe, with the Mi 10 retailing at €799 and the Mi Pro retailing at €999.

Mi 10 Lite

Xiaomi also announced the launch of the Mi 10 Lite 5G which features a 6.57” AMOLED display and weighs in at 192 grams.

It comes with a 48MP quad camera and a 16MP front camera and offers a 4160mAh battery

The vendor said it aims to make 5G available to a wide range of consumers with this device, pricing it at €349 – placing it among the cheapest 5G handsets on the market.
