Vodafone to help hundreds of sports charity groups with connectivity solutions

Vodafone has partnered partnership with sport charity Sported to offer free connectivity, digital skills training and grants under a new scheme called Sports.connected.It is part of Vodafone’s everyone.connected campaign to help four million people get connectivity by 2025. During the first year of the partnership, Vodafone will be supporting Sported groups in areas including Manchester, London, Cardiff and Stoke-on-Trent, Darlington, Glasgow and Belfast.

Vodafone will help over 200 of Sported’s community groups SIM cards and devices and will a digital business skills platform through its V-hub. This will feature webinars, toolkits and training to help clubs raise more funding and engage more young people in sport. Vodafone will also be setting up a grant scheme, for clubs to help purchase kit and put on more sports and activities.
