Vodafone has extended the offer to care workers
Vodafone has confirmed its free unlimited mobile data offer for NHS workers and vulnerable customers has extended to six-months.
The operator initially announced the offer on April 6 that allowed up to 500,000 pay monthly customers.
This entitled NHS staff and vulnerable customers to unlimited free data on the network.
Vodafone has also extended this offer to care workers, with those eligible able to sign up via Vodafone’s website.
The offer was provided by the operator to thank the NHS workers battling the coronavirus pandemic.
Process
Customers will need to enter their employers name, address and email.
After this is complete Vodafone will send the customer a notification to confirm the offer.
The offer is valid for six-months from the redemption date, with the deadline until June 6 for applications.
This potentially means customers can use the free unlimited data until December 5.
Vodafone UK CEO Nick Jeffery said: “We are so pleased to be able to extend our original offer for NHS workers and our vulnerable customers, and to be able to now add care workers in recognition of the amazing contribution they’re making at this time.
“We will continue to do what we can to say thank you to those on the front lines doing such valuable work in this crisis.”
