Vodafone announces Group Chief Commercial Officer departure

Froment-Curtil’s successor has not been announced yet

Vodafone has announced that its group chief commercial officer, Alex Froment-Curtil, will be leaving Vodafone.

He will be returning to France with his family to take on a new role in a different industry, and will be leaving at the end of the year.

Joining the company in 2004 in Germany, he has held senior commercial roles in Vodafone Group, Europe and Africa including CEO positions in Hungary, Egypt and Turkey.

In 2021, he moved to head office as group chief commercial officer and a member of Vodafone’s executive committee.

Nick Read, CEO Vodafone Group said: “I want to thank Alex for his significant impact in all of the roles he has had during his outstanding career at Vodafone. He has always focused on the customer, our digital transformation and growth agenda. I wish Alex and his family all the best on their return to France.”
