Truphone are the third-biggest provider of eSIM services globally
Truphone has provisioned its 10 millionth eSIM via its remote SIM provisioning platform.
The GSMA accredited mobile network has reached the milestone just 29 months after launching its eSIM service.
It comes as the London-based tech company connects up to 25,000 eSIM devices every day.
Truphone’s end-to-end software-based services includes a SIM operating system, a number of GSMA-accredited platforms, entitlement server, bootstrap, CMP and global connectivity to grow its IoT offerings worldwide.
Truphone provides SIM services and technology to consumer electronic companies, IoT/M2M device-makers, chipset manufacturers and MNOs.
Scale
In January this year, Truphone was named by Counterpoint Research as the third highest provider of eSIM services globally.
Commenting on the milestone Truphone CEO Ralph Steffens said Truphone can “lead the way” in the eSIM revolution.
“In 2016, Truphone developed a clear view that eSIM would soon be the dominant method of connecting devices. Since then, we have introduced new software and infrastructure to make it easy for device makers, chipmakers and network operators to embrace the shift towards eSIM to drive product innovation and customer advocacy faster than ever.
“That our platform has provisioned 10 million eSIM profiles from a standing start within just 29 months is testament to the quality and resilience of the products we have built and the service we pride ourselves on.”
