Evolve Telecom, Olive and OneCom inside the top 50; device protection manufacturer Tech 21 makes the top five

A trio of Vodafone Platinum Partners – Evolve Telecom, Olive Business Solutions and OneCom – have all made the latest Sunday times Tech Track 100 rankings.

The annual table, which was published in the national newspaper yesterday, ranks Britain’s fastest growing private technology companies by sales.

However, within the mobile industry, it was device case protection maker Tech21 that achieved the highest ranking, after being placed in 5th position.

The firm, which is based in Twickenham, achieved annual sales of £22.5 million in the year to May 2014, representing growth of 171.73 per cent over the past three years.

The first of the Vodafone Platinum Partners to be ranked was Evolve Telecom in 39th. In the year end to September 2013, the Southend-based firm, which also has offices in London, Cambridge and Cardiff, achieved sales of £20.9 million. This represents growth of 73.78 per cent over the past three years.

Evolve managing director Mark Gordon (pictured left) said: “We’ve shown time and time again that our customer service in, mobile, fixed line, IT services and unified communications is the best there possibly can be, and we’re committed to providing a totally joined up experience for all our customers. More and more of our customers are not just committing to us for our mobile services but are seeing the many benefits of having a sole supplier of telecom and IT services, enabling technology the freedom to work together as it should.

“Our vision is to simply take what we have already achieved to the next level, and to continue to grow the business with the same values and attributes that we have very firmly and deeply embedded.”

Olive Business Solutions, which is headquartered in High Wycombe and has an office in Hatfield in Hertfordshire, was placed in 49th position. It posted sales of £19.6 million in its year ending January 2014, representing three-year growth of 65.75 per cent.

OneCom made 59th position. In the year to December 2013, it posted sales of £43.8 million, which resulted in growth of 60.43 per cent over the past three years. The company, which has its head office in Whiteley in Fareham, has a further six offices located in Leeds, London, Southampton, Plymouth, Telford and Chandlers Ford.

Chief executive Darren Ridge: “This has been an incredible year for OneCom. We have been named Vodafone Platinum Partner of the Year for the fourth year running and secured several high-value contracts contributing to over £20 million worth of business, delivering our best ever six months’ trading.

“Our listing in the Tech Track 100 is a great tribute to the hard work of everyone who works for OneCom.”
