Three UK appoints new director of digital

Jon Davies joins the company after six years at Vodafone

Three UK has today announced the appointment of Jon Davies as its new director of digital.

Davies will be responsible for driving a digital focus across Three and the company says he will be tasked with delivering maximum customer benefit for its investment in new IT infrastructure.

He joins the company after spending six years at Vodafone where he led digital transformation in the UK.

Prior to that Davies held senior digital leadership positions at Adobe Inc., Orange S.A./France Telecom S.A. and Eurostar.

Three UK chief commercial officer Elaine Carey said: “I am delighted to welcome Jon to Three UK. Digital is central to what we want to achieve as a business and I know that Jon’s strong background will help us grow through digital and ultimately provide better connectivity, every day, for every customer.”

Davies added: “This is an exciting role and I am looking forward to really shaping the digital direction of Three UK to help drive the growth of the business and the experience of our customers. I want Three to be not only the best digital experience in our industry but to be known for great digital products and customer experiences beyond telecoms.”
