Current a2zmasks site will be brought under the TechHouse banner
Mobile repair firm and accessories retailer TechHouse has begun providing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to B2B clients as lockdown eases and businesses look to send people back to work.
TechHouse started selling the equipment on June 18 through the website a2zmasks.com. A2Z Masks currently offers surgical masks, KN95 face masks, and perspex full face shields.
“We’re going out to our pre-existing TechHouse B2B customers, and outside of that we’re going to restaurants, bars and catering,” said TechHouse group CEO Clive Bayley (pictured). “Overall, we’ll sell to anyone, but the tack is B2B.”
Bayley says that it will sell the PPE through a new site, TechHouse Protect, in the next few days.
“We move very fast. We’d just launched, and we thought ‘a2z doesn’t sound quite right, so we’ve just changed the strategy in a day,” he said. “Moving it all under the TechHouse brand makes it more credible.”
TechHouse currently services around 10,000 B2B customers. Bayley says that the move into PPE is not temporary, and the TechHouse Protect brand will incorporate other products that fall under a “protect” motif, including environmentally friendly compostable phone cases, but also other as-yet undisclosed products.
