Tech Data Mobile vendor director David Brassington said: “We have built-up a real head of steam with our Android partners and this appointment is further evidence of our commitment and determination to continue that momentum. Android devices are very well-suited to both personal and business use and we are seeing strong sales growth across all sectors.

With the exciting and broad range of products and services Tech Data Mobile can offer, we feel there is more potential to exploit with Android devices.”

“We are executing on our strategic plan for 2015. The next phase [of our plans] will see us bringing new and complementary vendor partners on board. This will allow Tech Data Mobile to position ourselves at the forefront of technological innovation, reaching further into the market and offering even more choice and opportunity to more resellers and dealers in all sectors of the market.”

Tech Data Mobile and Motorola are running a Webex conference on the use of Android devices for business users on October 7 at 10am.

The Make Any Place Your Workplace presentation will demonstrate how Android is being used effectively in the workplace and explain how partners can drive Android device adoption amongst business and enterprise customers.
