Samsung Gear wearable trio to launch October 26

Pre-orders are open and shipping for the Gear Sport (£299), Fit2 Pro (£209) and Icon X (TBC) will commence October 26

The Samsung Gear Sport, Fit2 Pro and Icon X will be launched in the UK on October 26 from the Samsung official web store.

All three devices were unveiled at IFA 2017 in January this year. The smartwatch Gear Sport (above) will retail for £299, fitness band Fit2 Pro is £209 and pricing for wireless earbuds IconX is to be confirmed.

Devices running Android 4.3 and iOS 9.0 or later versions are compatible with all three wearables.

Gear Sport

It will be available in blue and black. The Gear Sport features a 1.2-inch super AMOLED display weighing in at 50g without the band. It measures 42.9 x 44.6 x 11.6mm.

It can stand water depths up to 50 metres and has an onboard heart-rate sensor. Powering the smartwatch is a 1GHz dual-core processor with 768MB RAM, and 4GB of internal memory. Battery capacity is 300mAh and runs Tizen OS.

Gear Fit2 Pro

The fitness band can be ordered in black and red. A GPS tracker is built-in which can be utilised for runs and bike rides. It has a 1.5-inch super AMOLED wide display made of Gorilla Glass 3, the band measures 42.9 x 44.6 x 11.6mm and weighs 50g (without band).

Water resistance is also up to 50 metres in depth. Other features include: Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 200mAh battery and Tizen OS.

Gear IconX

The 2018 iteration of the IconX will be available in black, grey and pink with a case included. Each earbud weighs eight grams measuring at 18.9 x 21.8 x 22.8mm.

It connects via Bluetooth and has capacitive touch interaction. Other features include: USB-C and 2.0 connectivity, 82mAh battery (five hours on Bluetooth mode) and a 5.8pi dynamic driver for sound quality.
