Samsung Galaxy A32 5G is manufacturer’s latest mid-range 5G phone among trio of affordable releases

A32 5G to launch in February, A12 out now, A02s ‘in coming weeks’

Samsung has revealed a trio of affordable phones, one of which with 5G connectivity, a week after announcing its latest set of premium devices.

The Galaxy A32 5G, A12, and A02s offer large screen sizes and large battery life at a sub-£250 price point.

All three phones have a 6.5-inch HD+ TFT Infinity V screen and a 5,000mAh battery with 15W adaptive fast charging.

In camera and chipset terms, the A32 5G (pictured, left) is the most powerful of the three, with an Octa-core Mediatek chipset, and a quad camera setup with a 48MP main sensor, 8MP ultra-wide lens, 5MP macro sensor, and 2MP depth sensor, as well as a 13MP front camera.

The A12 (pictured, middle) has the same rear quad camera setup, but has an 8MP front camera, while the A02s (pictured, right) has a triple rear camera arrangement, with a 13MP main sensor, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor, as well as a 5MP front camera.

The A32 5G and A12 both have 4GB RAM, while the A02s has 3GB. The A32 5G has 64GB internal storage, while the A12 has 64GB and 128GB variants, and the A02s has 32GB internal storage. All three devices can increase their storage up to 1TB with microSD support.

The A02s is only passcode protected, but the A12 and A32 5G benefit from a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

Pricing, colours and availability

The Galaxy A32 5G will be available from February 19, at £249 in Awesome Black, Awesome White, Awesome Blue, and Awesome Violet colours.

The Galaxy A12 is currently available from Samsung UK and “major UK retailers”, per Samsung, from £169 in White, Black and Blue colours.

Samsung says the Galaxy A02s will be available in “the coming weeks”, from £139 in White and Black colours.
