ROKiT Phones has agreed a multi-year partnership to become the first major sponsor of women’s motorsport W Series’.
From 2020, all 20 cars and drivers clothing in the W Series will feature ROKiT’s branding –the biggest deal since the series’ was launched last year.
The partnership was announced at the Autosports Awards evening last night (December 8) in London.
For ROKiT it’s not the first move into motorsport, with the brand the title sponsor of Williams Racing F1 team, plus sponsorships in Formula E and British Touring Car Championships.
ROKiT chairman Jonathan Kendrick has praised the progress of the W Series so far and called it a natural fit.
“We’ve been amazed by the progress made and the success achieved by W Series since it smashed into the world of motorsport, and we really want to be a big part of its future as it develops over the next few years.
W Series chief executive Catherine Bond Muir has also welcomed the partnership.
“As a high-tech, disruptive, customer-focused brand, ROKiT sits comfortably alongside W Series and its mission to change the face of motorsport and we’re delighted that we’ll be racing together in the coming years.”
