Realme has appointed Francis Wong as the youngest ever CEO of Realme Europe, who is in his early 30’s.
Wong was the former CMO of Realme Europe and India where he led community-centred campaigns and youth-driven marketing strategies to turn the brand into the number three smartphone brand in India.
He was appointed CMO of Realme Europe, India, Africa and Latin America in 2021 and strived to reach new territories while being the global lead for the Realme GT series.
In his new role, he will drive brand presence and business operations in Europe and report to his predecessor Madhav Sheth, who is now President of Realme International Business Group.
Realme has experienced huge growth and market recognition as it became the fastest-growing smartphone brand in Europe in 2021 with a 518 per cent growth rate, and Wong will continue to keep this momentum.
