PRS Telecom has bought voice and data specialist DS Chiltern for an unspecified sum, marking its first ever acquisition in its 12-year history
It will be integrated into its new parent, with the acquisition providing PRS with an operations base in Slough, adding to its present offices in Bristol, Cardiff, Leeds, Liverpool, London, Manchester and Mold.
Mark and Sarah Wilson, who founded DS Chiltern in 2004, retired upon completion of the deal. Technical sales manager Mike Gregory will join PRS in the recently created role of technical solutions manager. He will head up new and current business system installations.
Mold-based PRS, which offers B2B mobile and landline products, as well as phone systems, has a base of 3,500 connections across O2, EE and Vodafone.
PRS Telecom CEO Patrick Gill (pictured) said: “DS Chiltern has a well earned reputation for customer retention achieved by excellence in service. PRS will build on this service bringing the benefits of its customer service program, extensive solutions range and technical capabilities.”
“We will continue to achieve sustainable growth supported by targeted acquisitions and expand our national network. This expansion will be supported by ongoing investment in people, resources and infrastructure to deliver the levels of service PRS are renowned for.”
