The Plan.com partner is eyeing up larger corporate partners
Prestige Telecom has set out bold targets to reach a turnover of £7.5 million this year.
Last year, the Gosport-based dealer reported turnover of £5 million, with profits of just short of £700,000, according to Companies House figures.
Co-founder Andrew Rodgers hopes to achieve the target by striking partnerships with larger corporate companies this year to help grow the existing connections base from the current 13,000.
Rodgers is confident the recent office move – which saw Prestige return to Gosport after a stint in Fareham – will help Prestige to hit the ambitious turnover target.
“We’re aiming to strike more lucrative deals with larger corporate partners,” said Rodgers. “Moving to our new office has given us better resources to push our brand and has enabled us to welcome our partners to come and do business with us.”
The dealer is also looking to continue its recruitment drive, having grown its headcount to 39 employees – with 16 recent additions in a variety of sales, back- office and business development roles. Rodgers is looking to expand the overall number to 60 in the next year.
“It’s important for us to represent the Gosport area, as we know there’s a gap in this particular area of the market that previous dealers have left,” he said.
“With our bigger office, we’re now really aiming to encourage bringing jobs to the area. We want to be a leading brand and name in the community and give something back to Gosport.”
