Accessories distributor and online retailer placed sixth and 67th respectively in Sunday Times list that measures SMEs with the fastest growing international sales
PJA Distribution and Mobile Fun have been ranked sixth and 67th respectively in the latest Sunday Times BT Business SME Export Track 100.
The supplement, which was published in yesterday’s newspaper, ranks private small-to-medium sized companies achieving the fastest growth in international sales over the last two years of available accounts.
PJA Distribution, which was founded in 2010 and is based in Stockton-on-Tees, grew international sales by on average by 193.17 per cent per annum to £4.7 million, with its last available accounts being for the 12 months ending May 31, 2014.
The firm distributes cases for smartphones from the likes of Apple, Samsung, Sony, Microsoft, HTC and LG, as well as car chargers, stylus pens and touchscreen gloves.
Birmingham-based online accessories retailer Mobile Fun, which is headed up by its MD Mohammed Hussain (pictured) grew international sales on average by 44.23 per cent per annum to £7 million, with its last available accounts being for the 12 months ending March 31, 2014.
It sells a host of products compatible with all major manufacturers, including cases, chargers, Bluetooth speakers, power banks and screen protectors. Its websites receive more than 50,000 visits each month from customers in over 30 countries.
