Phones 4U starts stocking Doro PhoneEasy 610 device from £59.95 as it looks to take advantage of the senior handset market
Senior handset manufacturer Doro has signed an agreement to stock its PhoneEasy 610 handset through Phones 4U.
The clamshell device which offers older mobile users large buttons, a big screen amplified ringtones is currently available in graphite black in Phones 4U stores, and online. It costs £79.95 for a new connection and £59.95 for an upgrade.
Phones 4U chief commercial officer Scott Hooton said: “ We recognise there is a customer base that are looking for an easy-to-use but stylish mobile phone.
“We have been impressed by Doro’s success and development in this space and as such we are pleased to offer this handset as the ultimate easy-to-use option for our customers.”
Doro UK & Ireland managing director Chris Millington (pictured) added: “The success we’ve had with our easy-to-use mobile range in 2011 has enabled us to illustrate to Phones 4U the enormous market opportunity the easy-mobile space has to offer.
“I’m delighted that they are now listing the Doro PhoneEasy 610 and that it will be available, not only to their traditional customer base, but to new customers through their store-in-store adventure with Currys and PC World too.”
The deal adds Phones4U to an increasing list of retailers stocking Doro products including Orange, Carphone Warehouse, O2, Tesco and John Lewis.
