Company now known as Aerial Business Communications, splitting into four sub-brands to better communicate to customers the products and services it provides

O2 Centre of Excellence dealer Aerial Telephones has rebranded as Aerial Business Communications as it looks to portray itself as a complete telecoms provider.

The Portsmouth-based B2B dealer and approved Nokia Care Point agent, is splitting the main brand into four sub-brands: ‘Aerial business mobile and data’, ‘Aerial landline and broadband’, ‘Aerial IT and Cloud services’ and ‘Aerial business phone systems’.

The main business name has its own logo, as do each of the sub-brands, which are coloured for easier identification.

Aerial business development and technical sales manager Dave Stephens said: “We want to be at the forefront of unified communications and convergence as it continues to grow.

“At the moment we’re predominantly a mobile provider, and that’s what we’re known for. This rebrand moves the business forward.

“People are always asking about phone systems and IT services we provide because they like the way we operate in the mobile arena. They want us to transfer that quality of service into these other areas and increasingly want this one-stop shop solution.”

To celebrate the rebrand, Aerial is hosting an open day at its offices on April 25. It is expecting up to 400 customers to attend at which they can meet Aerial’s staff, visit the new showroom and receive demonstrations of the mobile, fixed and IT services the dealer offers. In addition, there will be a Formula One simulator for people to try.

All 12 of Aerial’s partners will be exhibiting on the day, including O2, BlackBerry, Nokia, HTC, ZTE, Motorola, Crystal Ball, Destiny Wireless, Otterbox, NEC, IP Cortex and Sweet Telecom. There will be a prize draw from each exhibitor as well.

Aerial has also trebled the size of its product showroom to 2,000 square feet. The expanded space also features a new boardroom and meeting room for meetings with potential and existing customers.
