Mozillion gives every refurbished phone a two year guarantee as well as managing after sales and customer service on behalf of the seller
Mobile phone marketplace Mozillion has hit 25,000 members in the UK as customers turn to buying and selling refurbished phones.
The surge in customers signing up to the marketplace platform over the festive season has grown, following a survey that showed over half of British people would welcome a second hand present this Christmas.
Despite Mozillion allowing some new phones to be sold on the marketplace, 92 per cent of Mozillion shoppers chose to buy a refurbished phone on Black Friday due to cost-savings on Christmas shopping as well as helping the planet.
Mozillion have added a retail-wrapper around the marketplace model by inspecting, data-wiping, validating and testing every phone before they are sold to a buyer.
It’s free for a buyer or seller to sign up to Mozillion, and more phones are being added daily.
In 2023, Mozillion will be investing in a new logistics and service platform for UK growth and expansion into Europe, including the launch of ‘Mozillion TV’ YouTube channel.
James Francis, sales and marketing director at Mozillion, said:“We are seeing more buyers and sellers sign up to use Mozillion every day, especially now with so many people Christmas shopping online – the customer experience, service and unique marketplace model has played a big part in this growth, but I think the singular product focus on just phones (for now) has helped, as sellers can be confident there is a dedicated audience there specifically looking to buy mobile phones.”
