Mobile Fun to move into distribution

Online mobile accessories retailer to establish division to supply dealers and retailers with products

Mobile Fun will establish a distribution business early next year to cater for demand from high street retailers and dealers for products.

The company claims to be the UK’s leading B2C online retailer with orders in excess of 33,000 per month and more than one million hits to its website.

It is currently looking to recruit a ‘head of mobile accessories distribution’ to develop its channel strategy and establish a reseller base.

It will also hire a sales executive, product developer and marketing executive for the distribution team. The division will be run alongside its existing online retail business at its premises in Birmingham.

Mobile Fun was formed in 2000, and currently has a product portfolio of more than 8,000 across 300 global accessories brands and is targeting £25 million revenue by 2017.

It sells products including cases, covers, chargers, screen protectors, headphones, car kits and speakers.


Mobile Fun now provides online fulfilment to customers in more than 31 countries in the past year, including in Germany, France, Spain, the Netherlands, Italy, Russia, the US, Canada, China, Japan, South Africa and Australia.

Mobile Fun managing director Mohammed Hussain (pictured) said that while the UK market represents the most immediate opportunity, it is also in an ideal position to supply international customers as its global supplier base, offices and collection of multilingual websites will help it reach international retailers and dealers.
