Micro-P has acquired IT distributor Cohort Technology, enabling it to broaden its security and IP telephony offering.
Cohort Technology’s reseller partners include IP telephone and unified communications provider ShoreTel and security company McAfee.
Micro-P, which like Cohort is based in Basingstoke, said the acquisition will “considerably strengthen its B2B portfolio”.
UK managing director Paul Bryan said: “The acquisition of Cohort is a logical step in the direction of our B2B proposition and how we bring scale and opportunity to our customers.
“It will further strengthen our security, IP telephony and service story, making us more relevant to the IT community. We welcome the Cohort team on-board and look forward to the exciting times ahead.”
