Eagle replaces Mark Kahr who became Exertis Group procurement director in June
Exertis today announced that Kati Eagle would become the company’s UK purchasing director. Eagle steps up to the role following Mark Kahr’s move to global procurement director in June.
Eagle has more than 22 years’ experience in the technology industry and joined Exertis more than five years ago as head of purchasing. Eagle was most recently the company’s purchasing director and was responsible for the IT and mobile divisions.
Eagle said: “I am delighted to have been given the opportunity to lead such a talented team and welcome the challenge.
“Exertis is an exciting place to be, we have been through a period of rapid growth and expansion and I am thrilled to be part of the UK leadership team.”
Eagle will now be responsible for all aspects of UK purchasing including core purchasing, vendor bids, contracts, and product compliance. She will report to Exertis UK&I chief operating officer Richard Hinds.
Hinds said: Kati has been instrumental in the day to day operations and development of the purchasing team.
“The last few years have been a period of significant growth for Exertis and Kati’s influence and impact both within the purchasing team and across the wider business have been huge.
“I have every confidence in her ability to assume overall responsibility for the procurement function and wish her every success in her new role.”
