There are three bundle options available on the Carphone-Warehouse MVNO: £5, £10 and £15

iD Mobile has launched new SIM-only mobile bundles, marking its first entry into the prepay market.

The Carphone Warehouse-owned MVNO, which launched in May 2015 and is powered by the Three mobile network, announced its latest packages on December 5. Only three are available so far; £5, £10 and £15, with the option of adding more credit if needed.

The cheapest comes with 125 minutes, 500 texts and 100MB of data. A £10 top-up will provide customers with 500 minutes, unlimited texts and 1GB of data. The third £15 option comes with 1,000 minutes, unlimited texts and 4GB of data.

The MVNO claims the prepay options ‘offer some of the lowest out-of-bundle rates available in the UK mobile market.’ Calls cost 3p per minute, texts are 2p per minute, whilst 1p will be charged for every MB of data used. International calls start from 2p per minute.

iD Mobile general manager Adam Dunlop said: “Entering the prepay market is hugely exciting for us as it completes our range of 4G plans and we have something for everyone.

“We think our new pay-as-you-go SIM only plans offer unbeatable value for our customers, with a choice of three bundles with great inclusions at £5, £10 and £15, as well as the low international and out of bundle rates. These plans are perfect for customers who don’t want any hassle with contracts or credit checks.”
