But the global release date for the Magic 3 series is still to be announced

Honor has launched its first flagship smartphone series since being sold by former parent company Huawei towards the end of last year.

The Honor Magic 3 series consists of three new smartphones, the Magic 3, Magic 3 Pro and Magic 3 Pro+.

A global release date is yet to be confirmed by the vendor, with the series initially releasing in mainland China.

However Honor is aiming to grow on its success in China since becoming independent last November, with the manufacturer claiming to have 14.6 per cent market share on home soil.

Prices start from €899 for the Magic 3, €1,099 for the Magic 3 Pro and €1,499 for the Magic 3 Pro+.

All three phones in the series are powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Plus 5G, with a 4,600mAh battery.

The series also focuses heavily on the camera setup with the Magic 3 Pro+ featuring a quad camera setup with a 64MP monochrome camera, 50MP wide camera, plus a 64MP ultra wide and 64MP periscope telephoto camera.
