Fónua has completed the integration of Bluechipworld Sales and Marketing Limited (BCW) following the Fónua acquisition of Bluechipworld 18 months ago. Bluechipworld’s facilities in Cannock are now Fónua’s UK Head Office.
Bluechipworld was established in 2009 to design technology, audio, and mobile accessories. It managed licensed brands such as MiTEC, iT7 Audio, SilverLabel, iCandy, Keplar, and PlusOne, offering services including product development, e-commerce, warehouse management, own label management, design, logistics, and sales
Fónua, an Irish company, specialises in supply chain optimization, category management, product development, and enterprise solutions. It entered the UK market three years ago, gaining business from leading networks and retailers, including Three, EE, Virgin Media UK, and Curry’s. Last year, the company won the Mobile News Awards Best Accessories Distributor category.
“The integration of Bluechipworld, with its 15 years of expertise in designing, manufacturing, and distributing a diverse range of own-brand products, along with its status as the official retail distributor for top-tier consumer electronics, represents a strategic move” said Fónua Director of Strategy and Business Development Alan Eyre.
“This strategic merger brings together a wealth of industry experience and a robust portfolio, further enhancing our capabilities in delivering exceptional products and services. This integration is a significant milestone in our strategic growth plan,”
The Bluechipworld facilities in Cannock are now the Fónua head office. The facilities include offices, meeting rooms, product showrooms, testing laboratories, and a 30,000 square foot warehouse.
“The integration may result in some changes to our systems and processes. We are committed to providing a seamless transition and will be working closely with our partners to ensure that this integration is successful,” said Eyre.
