Distributor will offer SWE networking range to UK reseller partners

Exertis has struck a distribution agreement with Samsung to offer its Wireless Enterprise solution (SWE) to the UK reseller channel.

The distributor will give its 22,850 reseller partners the chance to sell SWE, which delivers Wi-Fi infrastructure using Samsung’s LTE technology.

The SWE networking range includes Access Point (AP) controllers, Power over Ethernet switches which connect and provide power to the AP fromt he network, and a wireless LAN controller manager that monitors APs.

Exertis networking GM Sarah Potter said “We are particularly pleased to be able to offer our resellers a high quality, wireless LAN infrastructure.

“SWE caters for the needs of enterprises requiring application support for VOIP, data, video conferencing and video streaming from a respected brand whose investment in LTE and leadership in the mobile market has provided a solution for enterprises which sets it apart from the competition.”

Exertis said it will also offer training to resellers looking to stock the SWE proposition, claiming it comes with a higher margin opportunity than comparable solutions.

The distributor will also offer a range of pre-sales support services for resellers including a free desktop site survey that provides an alternative to an onsite survey, typically costing £950 per day.

Samsung Enterprise Networks UK GM Warren Hampton said: “As a long standing Samsung partner and an experienced distributor of networking technologies, Exertis is a natural fit to take Samsung Wireless Enterprise to market.”
